About the Role
You will efficiently collate and prioritise student information for Exam Access Arrangements (EAA), in order to ensure that all students receive the appropriate exam entitlements. You will carry out data input to College Information Systems as directed by the Lead Assessor. Processing information to support the examination function.
Responsibilities
- Gather information from students and feeder schools, in order to ensure that formal requests for EAA can be submitted to the examination boards in a timely manner.
- Coordinate referral procedures and ensure the efficient processing of EAA information.
- Work closely with the EAA Assessors, Additional learning support team, teachers, and the Exams team.
- Submit individual learner assessment evidence to external examination bodies, using an online portal.
- Act as the first point of contact for Access Arrangements Support for external exam body inspections, providing evidence for justification of student Access Arrangements.
- Support invigilators with the setting up of exam rooms (including occasional evening exams) for students, including those with access arrangements, ensuring that all examination requirements are in place where necessary.
- Provide support to the Exams Officer, with exams related task support, as required.
Requirements
Essential
- English and Maths to at least a Level 2
- Excellent IT Skills including applications for managing data (CRM, Online portals etc)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and maintain data security (GDPR)
Desirable
- Knowledge of JCQ Regulations including planning and coordinating exam access arrangements
- Experience in using an online AA recording and tracking system
