We’re looking for an ambitious and community‑focused Town Centre Manager to be the driving force behind Havant town centre. This is a high‑profile role at the heart of the borough, shaping a vibrant, clean and welcoming place that people are proud to live, work, shop and spend time in. You’ll bring partners together, champion local identity and lead positive change as Havant continues to grow.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll lead and co‑coordinate activity in Havant Town Centre, working hands‑on with businesses, partners and council services to improve vibrancy and economic vitality.
- This includes overseeing public realm and events, supporting marketing and promotion, engaging with the community, and helping shape and deliver regeneration and investment plans.
- You’ll monitor performance and footfall, manage a budget, provide clear advice in a political environment, and act as a visible and trusted presence for the town centre.
You should have
- Relevant experience or qualifications in town centre management or a related field, with a strong track record of partnership working and service improvement.
- You’ll be strategic yet practical, confident working in a political and community setting, and skilled at managing projects, performance data and competing priorities.
