Full time Permanent - FT Team Leader/Subject Matter Expert – Client Delivery Team
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic team leader to join our Client and Engineering Service to lead on the delivery of our beach management plans. The role involves coordinating and overseeing beach management activities, preparing and submitting funding applications, ensuring compliance with environmental constraints, and managing budgets and NEC4 contracts.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate beach management activities across partner authorities.
- Oversee delivery programmes and project management processes.
- Prepare and submit grant funding applications and manage multi-year budgets.
- Report progress to stakeholders and adapt activities based on coastal monitoring.
- Serve as Project Manager for capital and revenue projects and manage NEC contracts.
- Lead, develop, and supervise small teams and junior members.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Water and Coastal Management or related discipline.
- Experience in applying for grant funding and managing multi-year budgets.
- Experience managing NEC4 contracts.
- Strong communication, engagement, and procurement skills.
