HSDC is seeking a Lecturer / Teacher of Catering to ensure outstanding success and progression through the delivery of inspirational teaching, learning and assessment from Level 1 to Level 3, of both practical and theoretical elements of the qualifications. This opportunity will suit someone with a passion for both the subject and for student success. The postholder must be self-motivated and innovative, with the ability to inspire our students.
Responsibilities:
- Planning effectively and delivering high quality teaching, learning, assessment and support, leading to excellent attendance, retention and achievement.
- To deliver formal scheduled teaching duties of both theory and practical lessons and student assessment.
- To record, share and regularly monitor student progress using College information systems.
- To prepare learning plans schemes of work, keep relevant records and undertake all administration relevant to teaching duties.
- To attend marketing and promotional events.
