We’re seeking a Bid Manager to join a well-established, award-winning architecture and design practice in London. Their portfolio spans masterplans, residential, hotels, retail, education and public buildings. The successful candidate will play a key role in winning new business and driving the practice’s growth by leading high‑quality bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the tender process from opportunity identification through to final submission
  • Develop winning bid strategies aligned with business goals
  • Oversee bid writing and coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Collaborate with Partner teams to shape cohesive and compelling bids
  • Maintain the tender pipeline and track performance metrics, sharing insights to improve future submissions
  • Continuously improve templates, presentations and marketing materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines
  • Organise and update project information sheets, CVs, portfolios and presentations
  • Develop and manage new business development activity using CRM system, CMAP
  • Maintain strong awareness of competitors and industry positioning
  • Identify key industry events and speaking opportunities for senior leaders and colleagues

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 – 10 years’ experience in bid management within architecture
  • Prior experience in managing the entire bid process from start to finish
  • Strong knowledge of and experience within an architecture practice
  • Strong writing, communication and graphic skills, with fluency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong graphic eye and attention to detail
  • Highly organised and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Self‑motivated, proactive and creatively driven
