Our Manufacturing client in the Dungannon area are seeking a Transport & Dispatch Coordinator to support daily logistics and dispatch operations in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient transport planning, accurate administration, and smooth coordination between warehouse, drivers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily and weekly transport planning and load scheduling
- Transport administration and vehicle compliance records
- Goods In processing, booking-in, and system updates
- Coordinating outbound order status and dispatch priorities
- Supporting packing and dispatch operations
- Managing Proof of Delivery (POD) tracking and queries
- Liaising with internal teams, drivers, hauliers, and customers
- Maintaining accurate logistics documentation
- Assisting with customer trade counter coordination
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience in transport, logistics, dispatch, or warehouse administration
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Confident using computer systems (ERP experience desirable; SAP advantageous)
- Good communication skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment
Desirable:
- Experience with vehicle compliance or fleet management systems
- Knowledge of POD processes and delivery support
- Understanding of transport planning and haulage coordination
