The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Our leading client in the Armagh area require a Recruitment Specialist to join their growing team. Reporting to the HR Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the growth of the company in terms of existing service sites and new and upcoming services. Operating in both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland, you will be responsible for maximising organisational brand promotion, increasing company exposure to potential applicants in the Health and Social Care and Nursing Sectors.

Please note that this job will require travel across Sites in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and to other venues to facilitate attendance at key events. (Mileage allowance will be applicable)

Your duties will include:

  1. To maximise and grow applications to assist the company in increasing its workforce levels to meet current and existing service needs.
  2. To actively promote and champion Company Values.
  3. Collaborating with HR Lead to understand staffing needs, develop a proactive strategy for maximum applicant engagement and audience exposure.
  4. Maintaining candidate databases and tracking recruitment metrics, that will include providing a report to the Senior Leadership Team.
  5. To promote the company as an employer of choice ensuring that the company name and brand is visible, known and represents a first-choice employer proposition.
  6. Proactively source suitable candidates using the latest search and selection methodology for key roles, identifying and approaching suitable candidates.
  7. Maximise use of employee employment search engines ensuring that we remain prominent in applicant searches, using technology to proactively identify and secure CVs before competitors.
  8. To achieve meeting or exceeding targets and KPIs, as identified and including candidates recruited, marketing techniques, and networking.
  9. Develop geographical plans per service in order to identify applicants/relevant audiences and establish links to local schools/colleges, Councils, community networks to ensure that our vacancies reach all applicable audiences.
  10. Identify key events in both NI and ROI relating to the Health & Social Care and Nursing Sectors and attend same for purposes of sector update on recruitment and to network with the potential of raising organisational profile and to identify potential applicants/employees at these events.
  11. Identify and attend jobs/careers fairs in all geographical areas to further promote the Company Brand, increase organisational profile and to advertise all existing and future vacancies with the objective of driving applicant flow.
  12. Review competitors in each geographical area to determine appropriate Marketing/PR interventions to ensure that the company remains at the forefront as applicant choice of employer.
  13. Undertake research in respect of competitor remuneration and salary packages and provide comparator analysis in respect of company positioning in the marketplace.
  14. Identify problem areas in respect of attracting staff and establish proactive plans to overcome blockages in respect of applicant return.
  15. Review Company Website and associated marketing and PR activity to improve upon and keep updated, our “presentation and look” to potential applicants to ensure that we appear visually attractive and accessible to potential applicants.
