We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Technician to join the finance team on a full-time, on-site basis in Omagh. The successful candidate will support day-to-day financial operations across a range of construction and property-related projects, ensuring accurate financial processing, record keeping, and reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices and customer billing accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounting systems
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Support the preparation of basic financial reports for management review
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve queries
- Ensure all financial documentation is correctly recorded and filed
- Maintain both digital and physical financial records in line with company procedures
- Support the finance team with general administrative and ad hoc duties
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills with the ability to maintain accurate records
- Good understanding of basic finance principles, including reconciliations and reporting
- Experience with invoicing, billing, and resolving payment discrepancies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively on-site in a busy office environment
