The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing sales invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Communicating with customers to resolve account queries and invoice issues in a timely manner.
- Reconciling customer accounts.
- Reconciling bank statements.
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve finance-related queries.
- Providing general administrative and financial support to the wider finance team as required.
About You
The successful candidate will have
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
- Experience using accounting software (such as Sage) and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
