Our growing construction client in Co. Tyrone is seeking to recruit an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their senior management team. This is a key leadership role offering the opportunity to influence commercial strategy, oversee multiple construction projects, and drive strong financial and contractual performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial management across a portfolio of construction projects
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, valuations, CVRs, and cost control
- Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and accounts
- Provide contractual and commercial guidance to operational teams
- Monitor project performance to ensure delivery on time and within budget
- Manage commercial risk and resolve contractual issues
- Build strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and internal teams
- Mentor and develop junior commercial staff
Essential Criteria
- 5 years experience in a senior Quantity Surveying / Managing QS role
- Strong background in commercial management within construction
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Strong IT skills and full UK driving licence
