Our busy Sales & Distribution client in the Lisburn area are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their sales team. In this role you will manage and grow sales across the Armagh, Tyrone, Fermanagh and Down regions within the electrical and kitchens distribution market. This is a field-based role focused on developing strong relationships with retailers, kitchen studios, and key trade partners. Sector experience is an advantage, but a demonstrable track record of sales success is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an established sales territory across the four counties.
  • Develop new business within the industry.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts through regular visits and proactive support.
  • Promote the company’s full product portfolio, providing product knowledge and technical guidance where required.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly sales targets with accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and competitor activity.
  • Prepare and present pricing proposals, quotations, and promotional offers.
  • Attend trade shows, supplier events, and customer demonstrations as required.
  • Maintain CRM records, visit logs, and territory plans.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven track record in field sales (minimum 2-3 years).
  • Experience in electrical wholesale, KBB (kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms), construction, or related distribution sectors is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a large territory effectively.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
