Our client is an established company experiencing steady growth, seeking a diligent Accounts Assistant to keep the finance function of the business running smoothly.

Duties:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Record daily financial transactions and perform bank/ledger reconciliations
  • Manage payroll end-to-end for a small team
  • Prepare financial reports and management summaries
  • Maintain accurate records and support adherence to financial policies and procedures
  • Support the management team with admin and data tasks

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a hands-on accounts role
  • Payroll experience
  • Proficiency with Xero (or similar accounting software)
  • Fluent in Microsoft Word & Excel; strong general IT skills
  • Clear communicator with excellent organisation, accuracy, and discretion
