The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Inventory Controller to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, investigating stock discrepancies, supporting warehouse processes, and driving continuous improvement across inventory management activities. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate stock shortages and inventory discrepancies on a daily basis.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete data entry tasks.
- Support quality control processes and warehouse audits.
- Monitor warehouse utilisation and storage efficiency.
- Assist with the development and improvement of inventory processes and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Support project work and operational improvement initiatives.
- Produce accurate inventory reports and maintain stock integrity.
- Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and customer-facing teams to ensure operational excellence.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Inventory Controller, Stock Controller, or similar inventory management role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in data entry and inventory management systems.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
