About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our team in Lisburn. This role will be responsible for developing sales opportunities, supporting customers and working closely with field-based sales colleagues to maximise sales and deliver an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound telephone and email sales, promoting existing and new products, special offers and discontinued stock.
- Upsell during customer calls and maximise the value of orders.
- Process telephone and email orders accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with customers regarding pricing discrepancies, stock availability and suitable alternative products where required.
- Provide internal sales support to Field Sales Representatives.
- Deliver effective after-sales support to customers and contractors.
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A pleasant and professional telephone manner.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- The ability to use initiative and make informed decisions.
- Previous sales experience, particularly in an internal sales environment, would be an advantage.
- Experience in customer service is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A willingness and enthusiasm to learn about products, systems and processes.
