Our Construction client in the Dungannon area are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join their commercial team. The business delivers high-quality projects across residential, commercial and industrial sectors and is looking for an organised professional to support its continued growth.

The Role

You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, analysing drawings and tender documents, and supporting the commercial function from enquiry through to project handover. This role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail and a solid understanding of construction processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates
  • Produce and issue quotations within agreed deadlines
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams to clarify project requirements
  • Maintain and update pricing schedules and supplier information
  • Provide commercial and technical input during tender negotiations
  • Support the smooth handover of successful projects to delivery teams

Criteria:

  • Previous estimating experience within construction or a related field
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction documents
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in relevant estimating software and Microsoft Excel
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
