Our client are a leading supplier to the engineering industry. They are currently recruiting a Trade Counter Sales Person to assist in the day to day running of a busy Trade Counter.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm, Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries from walk ins, phone & email customers
- Assist with stock replenishment on the shop floor
- Assist with deliveries in and out of the store
- Actively promoting and selling products to customers
- Accurately processing customer orders, ensuring that the correct products are selected, and managing any necessary paperwork
- Processing cash, credit card, or other payment methods
Person Specifications:
- Experience in a similar role within the Construction/Building/Engineering sectors
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Good Communication Skills
- Strong work ethic with good attendance and timekeeping skills
- IT Literate
- Clean driving licence
