Production Supervisor Location: Dungannon Job Type: Full-time, Permanent The Opportunity We are working with an established engineering client who is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing and despatch activities within their busy production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader with strong organisational skills and manufacturing experience to lead a team, drive production performance and ensure customer orders are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate daily production and despatch activities to meet customer deadlines. Lead, motivate and manage a production team, setting clear targets and monitoring performance. Work closely with production planning and other departments to maintain workflow and delivery schedules. Monitor product quality, ensuring all work meets customer specifications and required standards. Identify and resolve production issues, escalating potential delays, material shortages and equipment breakdowns. Promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures, risk assessments and standard operating procedures. Identify training needs, support employee development and deliver toolbox talks. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles. Monitor team attendance, overtime and other relevant production records. Essential Criteria Minimum of 3 years' manufacturing experience. Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment. Competent in Microsoft Office applications. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing competing priorities while ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer commitments are consistently achieved.
