Our growing construction client in Co. Tyrone is seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their senior management team. This key leadership role offers the opportunity to influence commercial strategy, oversee multiple construction projects, and drive strong financial and contractual performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial management across a portfolio of construction projects
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, valuations, CVRs, and cost control
- Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and accounts
- Provide contractual and commercial guidance to operational teams
- Monitor project performance to ensure delivery on time and within budget
- Manage commercial risk and resolve contractual issues
- Build strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and internal teams
- Mentor and develop junior commercial staff
Essential Criteria
- 5+ years' experience in a senior Quantity Surveying / Managing QS role
- Strong background in commercial management within construction
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Strong IT skills and full UK driving licence
