We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Fleet Coordinator to support the smooth operation of a large commercial vehicle fleet. This is a key role within the operations team, ensuring vehicles are maintained, compliant, and fully operational at all times. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong administrative skills, and enjoy coordinating multiple tasks across different stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support administration of a large commercial vehicle fleet
- Coordinate routine maintenance, servicing, repairs, and defect reporting
- Ensure full compliance with tax, insurance, MOTs, and driver licence checks
- Manage insurance claims and breakdown support processes
- Monitor fuel usage and out-of-hours vehicle activity
- Provide guidance and support to drivers on company procedures
- Liaise with internal departments, drivers, and external suppliers
- Maintain accurate fleet records and produce regular reports
- Carry out vehicle condition checks and occasional vehicle movements
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong administrative experience in a busy environment
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
