Our leading Manufacturing client are seeking to recruit a Financial Controller in Dungannon to join their Senior Management team.
Role Overview: The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial management, governance, and reporting of the organisation. Reporting to the CEO, the role ensures strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of accurate financial insight to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance function, ensuring effective financial controls and processes.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and statutory financial reports.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and cashflow.
- Oversee year-end audit and ensure compliance with all statutory and tax requirements (VAT, payroll, PAYE).
- Manage R&D tax credits and identify grant funding opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, insurers, and external advisors.
- Lead and develop the finance team.
- Monitor financial performance against agreed KPIs.
- Work with the sales team to review and monitor customer agreements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience in a senior finance or financial leadership role.
- Strong financial reporting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
