Our busy Engineering client in the Dungannon area requires a Finance Manager (Part time) to lead the daily financial operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day finance function, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process sales and purchase invoices, payments, and credit control.
- Complete bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Process weekly payroll.
- Maintain accurate financial records and provide information to the external accountant for year-end accounts.
- Monitor costs and financial performance, and provide financial information.
- Maintain effective financial controls and identify opportunities to improve processes.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similarfinance or accounting role.
- Experience taking ownership of a finance function.
- Strong knowledge of accounts, VAT, and reconciliations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical skills, and analytical abilities.
