An established and growing electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its pre-construction team.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of tenders across a diverse range of commercial and industrial projects while contributing to the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules, to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Produce and submit competitive, compliant tender proposals within required deadlines.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identify value engineering opportunities to deliver cost-effective solutions.
- Attend tender review meetings and provide commercial input where required.
- Work closely with the pre-construction and project delivery teams to ensure a smooth handover of successful tenders.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator or in a similar estimating role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations and systems, ideally supported by a relevant apprenticeship, HNC, or HND qualification.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365; experience with estimating software such as Trimble would be advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
