Our client are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to join their team. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day financial transactions and supporting month‑end processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial records across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Performing bank reconciliations on a regular basis
  • Assisting with month‑end accounts preparation
  • Preparing and submitting CIS returns
  • Completing UK and ROI VAT returns
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audits when required
  • Liaising with internal teams and external advisors as needed

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a Bookkeeper or similar finance role
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Experience with VAT returns (UK & ROI) and CIS
  • Good understanding of month‑end procedures
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
