Part-Time Accounts Assistant & Office Manager
Location: Co. Tyrone
Salary: £34,000 per annum (£42,500 FTE)
Hours: 32 hours per week
Working Hours: There is some flexibility around the working pattern for the right candidate.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant & Office Manager to join a growing organisation in Co. Tyrone. This is a varied role combining financial administration, accounting responsibilities and day-to-day office management.
The Role
- Assisting with management accounts and financial reporting.
- Processing sales and purchase ledgers, reconciliations and monthly statements.
- Managing purchase orders, supplier payments and bank reconciliations.
- Processing VAT, PAYE, pension and other statutory returns.
- Managing customer and supplier queries relating to payments and accounts.
- Preparing journal entries including accruals, prepayments, payroll and expenses.
- Assisting with weekly KPI reporting and financial analysis.
- Supporting fixed asset management and grant claims.
- Liaising with software developers regarding system requirements.
- Supporting marketing and social media activities.
- Managing day-to-day office operations, facilities, post, supplies and maintenance.
- Assisting with office contracts and general administrative duties.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounting role.
- Strong Excel skills, ideally at an advanced level.
- Experience using accounting software/packages.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- An accounting qualification is desirable but not essential.
