An exciting opportunity for an experienced Cost Accountant to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will support financial performance, cost control, and key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and maintain product costings (materials, labour, overheads)
- Analyse margins and support pricing decisions
- Manage costing for new product introductions
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Oversee inventory management, cycle counts, and audits
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
- Produce cost analysis and performance reports
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support preparation of management reports and KPIs
- Maintain procedures and support compliance requirements
Requirements
- Experience in cost accounting within manufacturing
- Strong Excel and systems knowledge
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and results-driven
Desirable
- Experience with ERP systems
- Relevant accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or similar)
