Our client is a leading engineering company in the Cookstown area and is currently recruiting a Quality Controller to join their team.

Duties:
- Actively addressing and raising quality concerns on a day‑to‑day basis
- PDI of chassis and associated ancillary equipment (using 3D model software and uploading reports)
- Paint checks of chassis/horn/Power units
- Routine inspection of internally fabricated parts and sub‑assembly units before moving to main build
- PDI reports, Morning meetings, and other associated paperwork
- Contribute to the prompt resolution of customers FRACAS (External N/Cs)
- Maintain Quality gates in designated areas
- Escalate non‑conformances using internal red tag process
- Support quality investigations as required
- Internal auditing (5S, LSOP etc)
- Adhering to strict quality targets
- Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
- Maintain compliance with all Health and Safety Regulations
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in a quality/inspector role
- Basic computer skills
- Experience of working within a Quality management system
- Knowledge of using measurement equipment (Weld gauge, Taper gauge, Angle finder etc)
- Experience of working within the manufacturing process
- Understanding the weld process
- Good teamwork and communication skills
