Our growing construction client in Co. Tyrone is seeking to recruit an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their senior management team. This is a key leadership role offering the opportunity to influence commercial strategy, oversee multiple construction projects, and drive strong financial and contractual performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial management across a portfolio of construction projects
  • Oversee budgets, forecasts, valuations, CVRs, and cost control
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and accounts
  • Provide contractual and commercial guidance to operational teams
  • Monitor project performance to ensure delivery on time and within budget
  • Manage commercial risk and resolve contractual issues
  • Build strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and internal teams
  • Mentor and develop junior commercial staff

Essential Criteria

  • 5+ years experience in a senior Quantity Surveying / Managing QS role
  • Strong background in commercial management within construction
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Strong IT skills and full UK driving licence
