The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Account Manager to join a well-established and growing business based in Cookstown. Working as part of a busy customer service team, you'll play a key role in supporting existing customer accounts, working closely with field-based Account Managers to ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced commercial environment. Key Responsibilities Support Account Managers with the day-to-day management of customer accounts. Respond promptly to customer enquiries and ensure issues are resolved efficiently. Build strong working relationships with customers and internal departments to deliver excellent service. Process new customer contracts, renewals, amendments and cancellations. Manage customer orders, stock requests and product requirements. Raise invoices and process credits where required. Monitor customer accounts and assist with resolving outstanding debt issues. Log and manage customer complaints, ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution. Produce regular reports and maintain accurate customer records using internal systems. Assist with customer site visits, stock takes and account reviews when required. Work collaboratively with colleagues across customer service, operations and sales to support business objectives. About You We're looking for someone who has: Previous experience in an Account Management, Customer Service, Sales Support or Internal Sales role. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A proactive, customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities. Good commercial awareness and attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Competent IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
