Our busy construction client is seeking an Accounts Technician to support the Finance Manager with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and year-end accounts in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare annual and year-end accounts for SME clients
- Support audit preparation and statutory reporting
- Complete VAT returns and Companies House submissions
- Maintain cash books, bank reconciliations, and financial records
- Manage sales ledger and debtor reconciliations
- Liaise with external advisors and provide general finance support
Requirements:
- Qualified or part-qualified Accounting Technician (AAT, IATI, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years' experience in a busy accounts/finance role
- Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
