Our client are a manufacturing company based outside Belfast. They are currently recruiting a Production / Operations Manager to oversee the day to day running of the business. The successful candidate will oversee the organisations daily operations and work closely with the Managing Director and the Financial Controller.
Duties include:
- Manage day-to-day business activities across different departments.
- Create and manage budgets, track expenses, and drive revenue.
- Hire, train, supervise, and mentor staff.
- Implement business plans as agreed by senior management team.
- Resolve high-level customer complaints and internal team issues.
- Oversee production planning to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Work closely with logistics partners.
- Ensure H & S procedures are adhered to throughout the site.
Essential Criteria:
- At least 5 years management experience in a manufacturing business.
- Proven track record of staff management & meeting KPIs.
- Ability to display a high level of commercial awareness including projections & budgeting.
- Work to deadlines.
- Pro-active approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills.
