HR & Operations Administrator in Armagh.
Our Engineering & Construction client in the Armagh area are seeking an organised and proactive HR & Operations Administrator to join their busy HR team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in HR, recruitment and operations while gaining hands‑on experience across recruitment administration, employee onboarding, workforce coordination and general HR support.
Working closely with the Operations and HR teams, you will help coordinate recruitment activities, support workforce mobilisation, maintain employee records and provide administrative support to ensure projects are fully resourced and employees are onboarded efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end recruitment activities for operational and site-based roles.
- Advertise vacancies, manage applications and maintain accurate candidate records.
- Coordinate interviews and liaise with candidates, hiring managers and operational teams.
- Assist with employee onboarding and workforce mobilisation, ensuring all documentation is completed within required timescales.
- Maintain accurate recruitment, onboarding and personnel records.
- Respond to recruitment, onboarding and HR-related queries from candidates and employees.
- Support workforce planning through recruitment tracking and progress reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the HR and Operations teams.
- Coordinate employee training, communications and general HR administration.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and operational projects as required.
Skills & Experience
- Previous administration experience, ideally within HR, recruitment or operations, or a recent qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships across all levels of the business.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling documentation and employee records.
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within HR, recruitment and operations.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Full driving licence and access to your own transport.
