Our Client, is a specialist supplier to the construction industry. Due to an increase in projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe, they are seeking a Compliance Officer to support workforce compliance across their international operations. Job Purpose: Working closely with the Operations Manager and HR Manager, you will help ensure employees and subcontractors have the correct documentation, visas, work permits and compliance arrangements in place before mobilisation. Key Responsibilities: Manage posted worker compliance, including registrations, declarations and supporting documentation. Monitor employee deployments, locations and duration, identifying payroll, tax, social security and permanent establishment risks. Coordinate social security requirements, employment permits, visas and right-to-work documentation. Review country-specific requirements, including collective agreements, minimum pay, allowances, working time rules and employment conditions. Manage subcontractor compliance Maintain compliance trackers, records, procedures and internal controls, and support responses to audits, inspections and labour authority enquiries. Provide guidance to HR, Finance, Payroll and Operations, escalating complex tax or legal matters where appropriate. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone organised, detail-focused and confident managing multiple processes and deadlines. Experience in compliance, HR, global mobility, immigration, payroll or a similar administrative role would be advantageous. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confidence working with employees, subcontractors and external stakeholders. Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and digital systems. Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information. Qualifications and Experience: A relevant qualification in tax, payroll, HR, compliance or a related discipline would be advantageous Experience in European workforce compliance, global mobility, employment tax, international payroll, posted worker compliance or cross-border construction compliance would also be beneficial.
