We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Technician to join the finance team on a full-time, on-site basis in Omagh. The successful candidate will support day-to-day financial operations across a range of construction and property-related projects, ensuring accurate financial processing, record keeping, and reporting. Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices and customer billing accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounting systems
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Support the preparation of basic financial reports for management review
  • Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve queries
  • Ensure all financial documentation is correctly recorded and filed
  • Maintain both digital and physical financial records in line with company procedures
  • Support the finance team with general administrative and ad hoc duties

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills with the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Good understanding of basic finance principles, including reconciliations and reporting
  • Experience with invoicing, billing, and resolving payment discrepancies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively on-site in a busy office environment

Desirable

  • Relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience within construction, property, or project-based environments
  • Familiarity with multi-sector or multi-entity businesses
