You will support the Preconstruction team with a range of administrative and coordination tasks to help ensure work is planned, documented and prepared effectively before delivery. The role is part of a multi-skilled team, and you will develop your capability across planning, project coordination, compliance support, customer communication and internal systems.
You will work closely with colleagues across Preconstruction, Operations and other support functions, helping to ensure information is accurate, records are maintained, and work is progressed in line with business requirements. This role is designed to provide practical workplace experience alongside structured apprenticeship learning.
- Support the Preconstruction team with general administration, documentation and coordination tasks.
- Assist with planning and scheduling activity, including updating schedules and supporting changes, deferrals and re-plans.
- Support project coordination from enquiry through to delivery by helping to gather information, maintain records and track progress.
- Assist with the preparation, filing and maintenance of project, customer and compliance documentation.
- Support the team with customer and internal queries, providing updates or escalating matters where appropriate.
- Update internal systems accurately and in line with company processes and GDPR requirements.
- Assist with delivery readiness checks by helping to confirm that required information, documentation and system updates are in place.
- Support compliance administration relating to permits, notices, traffic management bookings and associated records, under guidance from experienced colleagues.
- Work flexibly across planning, coordination and compliance activities to support the needs of the team.
- Complete apprenticeship learning, coursework and assessments within agreed timescales.
