As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by delivering compassionate, high quality care and supporting them to live as independently and fulfillingly as possible. What You'll Be Doing
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and emotional support to residents living with dementia and nursing care needs.
- Encourage residents to maintain their independence while respecting their individual choices, preferences, and dignity.
- Support residents with personal care, daily living activities, and meaningful social engagement.
- Reinforce and encourage existing life skills and promote confidence and wellbeing.
- Become a Key Worker for designated residents, helping to plan, coordinate, and review their personalised care.
- Develop positive relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and other agencies involved in residents' care.
- Accurately maintain care records and update personalised care plans using our digital care system.
- Safely administer or assist with medication in accordance with company policies and training.
- Participate in resident meetings, helping to promote choice and inclusion.
- Attend regular supervision sessions, team meetings, and ongoing training to support your professional development.
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the home while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

- Previous experience supporting people living with mental health conditions and/or dementia is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.
