Responsibilities
- Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery
- Supervise the cleaning and laundry services within the home in accordance with agreed standards
- Implement actions to meet and maintain cleaning standards
- Systematically solve day‑to‑day problematic issues which arise
- Evaluate standards of cleaning competence
- Ensure the Service Users' rights are protected
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
- Communicate effectively with Service Users and their visitors using good written and verbal English
Requirements
Desirable but not essential
- Previous experience of working in a similar environment
- Previous experience of working as a housekeeper
- Experience of working with Service Users who have additional support needs
