An exciting opportunity for an Administrator/Receptionist to work at a prestigious sixth form College in South Kensington.
Your responsibilities will include greeting visitors and making them refreshments and giving short tours of the building from time to time. You will answer the phone with a warm and friendly manner, ensuring accurate messages are taken and passed on to the appropriate member of staff answer students enquiries, book appointments using Outlook and support the management of the College. You will sort and distribute the post, manage the stationery stock, replacing as necessary and print and send out absence letters at the end of each day. You will responsible for all admin paperwork for at least two Directors of Studies to include student reports, routine letters, filing, diary management and maintenance of student files. You will attend Open Evenings and provide support during peak times such as Easter Revision and Recruitment during August.
In order to be considered for this role you will ‘A’ level standard or above, have experience working in a customer service/reception, possess clear and accurate oral and written communication skills in order to deal with staff and students. You will be able to work efficiently in order to meet deadlines, have good record keeping skills, possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, good IT skills are essential, particular Microsoft Word and Excel. They are looking for someone with the ability to multi-task, work beyond normal hours at peak times, are able to work as part of a team, able to use your initiative, be flexible, adaptable and forward thinking. You must have experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information. You will be of smart appearance with a friendly and helpful manner.
