Role summary

We are looking for an experienced Traffic Management Operative to join our team on a permanent basis at Doncaster Depot. The role may require infrequent travel to join teams across our other UK operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management on roads in/around the community.
• Distribute cones, signs, frames, and sandbags in adherence to Chapter 8.

Working pattern

You will work 5 days in any 7-day period (Monday to Sunday), totaling 50 hours per week. Weekend working (Saturday and Sunday) will be a regular part of the role and may be part of the 5-day week or offered as additional voluntary work. Your rota will be provided at least 7 calendar days in advance. Standard daily hours are 10 hours per day, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Start times vary between 6:00am and 10:00am and depend on operational requirements.

What skills you need

• Must hold NHSS Lantra 12D M1/M2 certification
• Passion for working in Traffic Management
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
• Self-starter with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Organised with attention to detail
• Hardworking and enthusiastic
• Ability to pass a Drugs & Alcohol check
• Knowledge of Chapter 8
• Right to work in the UK
• Team player
