Hattingley Valley has quickly established itself as one of the UK’s most successful wineries, winning over 200 industry awards for its still and sparkling wines, which are enjoyed throughout the UK and exported internationally to 16 countries.

An opportunity to join one of the leading English wine producers in a thriving industry. Due to the increasing demand for our wines, we are seeking to expand our sales team. We are looking for a proactive, dynamic individual who will manage and seek to grow sales across on & off-trade channels, primarily covering the Hampshire area, but support in surrounding areas may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our established local trade business by way of: on site tastings, trainings, dinners and visits to the winery.
  • Follow up on leads for venues looking to stock Hattingley in Hampshire and prospecting new accounts.
  • Work in conjunction with some of our UK distributor’s sales team to look at opportunities to list Hattingley, in addition to providing introductions to their sales team for new accounts for them.
  • Provide assistance when necessary at the winery in hosting tour visits for trade groups.
  • Attend trade shows, consumer events, tastings when required acting as a Hattingley Brand Ambassador.
  • With time there will be opportunity to expand the area that you will work in.
Preference will be given to those who...
  • Are proactive in selling and building relationships.
  • You may be currently working in a wine retail, hospitality, or sales role.
  • You are passionate about wine and are keen to learn about English sparkling wine.
  • You are naturally enthusiastic and confident presenting in front of a crowd.
  • You are personable with a timely sense of humour.
  • You may be required from time to time to work on a weekend day, with occasional evening work.
  • Preferred WSET Level II or III.
  • UK driving license and own transport essential.
Right to work

Hours:

Primarily Mon‑Fri, the role will be based out of the Hattingley office in Hampshire, however a good deal of time will be spent visiting customers.
