As a Midday Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils with complex needs during the lunchtime period. You’ll help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment—supporting mealtime routines, encouraging social interaction, and assisting with personal care where needed. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing and development of our pupils in a meaningful way.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supervising pupils during lunch in the dining hall, playground, and across the school.
- Assisting with feeding programmes and personal care needs.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and independence.
- Supporting play activities and pupil engagement.
- Escorting pupils safely around the school.
- Promoting health, safety, and safeguarding at all times.
