Hatched Recruitment is looking for a Care Worker in the Enfield area. 3 – 6 months contract with chance of extension.
Job Role:
- Basic preparation of food and beverages (for example preparation of vegetables
and snacks)

Simple cooking (for example reconstitution of prepared food)

Transporting and serving of meals, adhering to portion control, using the correct
serving equipment
- General kitchen and dining duties (for example, washing up, and cleaning away
equipment and tables

Operation of a computerised meal register

Cleaning of the kitchen, its surrounds and equipment

Cleaning of the dining room, its surround and furniture
-
Cleaning of any areas related to the provision of the Catering Service

Maintain a standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the day

Be aware of accidents/hazards prevention at all times

Follow instruction in regard to personal hygiene and standard of uniform and
appearance
- Report any defect in equipment immediately

Hours: can be short, typically 3 hours on occasion 2.5 hours. A non-paid break can be taken, timing depending on the site

Must be able to speak and understand English

Willingness to travel to any school in the borough of Enfield

Interested in food, and catering experience desirable

Good customer service, friendly and approachable and good communication skills at all levels, children, school staff, colleagues
