Established in 2010, the team specialises in high-quality refurbishments, renovations, and extensions. They provide a broad range of services, including bespoke carpentry, structural alterations, and new builds, catering to both commercial and high-end residential sectors. Due to impressive growth and increased project demands, we are looking to speak with a Domestic Construction Estimator/Surveyor to join the team, permanently.
Job Overview
The primary objective of this role is to survey and estimate new and existing projects to provide accurate prices to support and hit company sales targets.
- Surveys projects to capture the client's requirements for pricing.
- Prices new and existing jobs from survey/visits, drawing plans or tender documents for required materials, labour, plant and subcontractors.
- Keeps pricing templates up to date and accurate.
- Guides the customer through the sales process to closing sales, onboarding clients and handing over to operations team.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Responsible for carrying out surveying and estimating work to support and achieve company sales targets.
- Responsible for reviewing sales performance and producing associated reports.
- Guide customers through the sales process.
- Conduct project surveys, estimates, and obtain supplier/subcontractor quotes.
- Prepare tender proposals and maintain pricing updates.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and partners.
- Represent the company at events and stay updated on industry trends.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks.
Operations & Finance:
- Prepare cost plans, sales handovers, and project documentation.
- Issue deposit invoices and action plans for new projects.
Support & Representation:
- Represent the company at events, networking, training, and provide holiday cover.
