Hatched Talent Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Production Manager ready to step into a broader Operations Manager role. If you are currently running shifts, managing output, hitting KPIs, and leading teams on the floor but want more ownership, more influence, and a seat at the table this is your move.
The Opportunity
This role puts you in full control of night shift operations. You’ll be responsible for delivering output, managing performance, controlling costs, and leading teams to consistently hit targets. You won’t just be maintaining standards; you’ll be expected to improve them.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving Production Performance
- Take ownership of night shift output and ensure all targets are delivered
- Monitor KPIs across productivity, quality, and cost
- Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements that increase output and reduce waste
- Leading from the Front
- Manage, motivate, and develop production teams
- Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable to performance standards
- Build a culture of ownership, discipline, and consistency on shift
- Taking Control of Operations
- Support and deputise for the General Manager when required
- Ensure smooth handovers and communication across shifts
- Maintain full oversight of labour, resource, and operational planning
- Managing Cost & Efficiency
- Control labour, energy, and operational spend
- Use data and reporting to drive smarter decisions
- Continuously look for ways to improve margins through operational performance
- Ensuring Standards & Compliance
- Maintain high standards across quality, safety, and housekeeping
- Drive a strong Health & Safety culture on-site
- Ensure all processes are followed and continuously improved
What We’re Looking For
- Background as a Production Manager, Shift Manager, or similar
- Proven experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of KPIs, output, and operational performance
- Hands-on leader who leads from the floor, not the office
- Comfortable making decisions, solving problems, and driving change
- Ambition to step into a broader operational leadership role
