About the Role:
We are working exclusively with a well-established laundry service company based in Uxbridge, recruiting for an experienced 7.5T Delivery Driver. The role involves collection and delivery of linen to/from customer sites across London and the Home Counties.
Main Duties:
- Driving a 7.5T vehicle
- Use of tail lift (training can be provided)
- Collection and delivery of linen - pushing/pulling cages/trolleys (occasional manual lifting)
- Straight exchange of clean and soiled linen
- Accurate completion of delivery paperwork
- Acting as a professional representative of the company on-site
Requirements:
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- CPC Licence & Digital Tacho Card (essential)
- Experience driving a 7.5T vehicle
- Previous experience in laundry delivery preferred
- Physically fit (ability to push/pull cages, occasional manual handling)
- Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
- Able to commute to Uxbridge (or willing to relocate before starting)
Pay & Hours:
- Monday to Friday: £571.16 per week
- Every other Saturday required (paid bonus of £40 for Saturday work) → Weekly pay is £685 when working a Saturday
- Overtime available
- 8-hour shifts (day shift)
