A leading cloud software provider is looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to join their Platform Team. You'll support a multi-tenant SaaS platform used by global energy companies, helping ensure performance, scalability, and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimise Oracle databases in a hybrid AWS environment
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and manage high availability/disaster recovery
  • Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and customer support teams
  • Design schemas, support data migrations, and enable CI/CD automation
  • Monitor and improve database operations using AWS tools

Tech Environment:

  • Oracle (RDS/EC2), AWS (Lambda, Kinesis, EventBridge)
  • Java EE applications, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK)

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of Oracle DBA experience
  • Strong SQL tuning and Java connectivity knowledge
  • AWS experience (RDS, EC2, or Aurora)
  • Scripting (Python, Shell) and CI/CD familiarity
