Landlord and Compliance Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Landlord and Compliance Specialist to provide expert guidance on property compliance across a varied housing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise on landlord property compliance, including:
- Radon
- Water safety
- Asbestos
- Other property safety areas
- Ensure best practice and statutory compliance across all managed properties.
- Manage property compliance services across multiple sites.
- Effectively deploy and manage resources.
- Maintain compliance with all current legislation, government policies, and approved codes of practice.
- Manage the risk of property-related health and safety issues.
- Support with procurement, budgeting, and contractor management.
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance to operational teams.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in landlord property safety and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of property legislation and safety regulations.
- Experience managing asbestos, water safety, and radon safety programmes.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and lead operational teams.
- Excellent communication and risk management skills.
Additional Information:
- Temporary role with potential to become permanent.
- Responsible for a budget of approximately £500k.
- Direct management of a small team.
