We're looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team in Edinburgh. Reporting to the Engineering Team Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and building plant as part of a flexible maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across all relevant assets.
  • Diagnose faults, source parts, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with the wider M&E team and specialist subcontractors to deliver high-quality work.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, including risk assessments, fire safety, and hazardous substances protocols.
  • Communicate with site teams to coordinate planned and reactive work, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Complete all required documentation, including test certificates, reports, and risk assessments.
  • Participate in emergency repairs (overtime may be required) and manage backlog tasks.
  • Undertake training to stay up to date with new techniques and technologies.

  • Has proven experience in electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs.
  • Understands workplace safety and compliance standards.
  • Communicates effectively with team members and clients.
  • Is flexible and willing to support non-electrical tasks when required.
