Children's Brokerage Officer
Part Time (16 hours per week)
We are looking for an organised and motivated individual to join the Children's Commissioning Team as a Children's Brokerage Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commission a wide range of resources and services for Children's Services and partner organisations
- Ensure all procurement procedures and compliance standards are followed
- Support the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services for children and families
- Work closely with providers, partners, and internal teams to meet service needs
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a busy, fast-paced environment
About You:
- Experience in commissioning, procurement, or transferable skills in a similar role
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to build positive, effective working relationships with providers and partners
- Knowledge of Children's Services is desirable
- Enthusiastic to develop skills in commissioning and social care
