We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our Facilities Management (FM) team, working across a variety of client sites. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional and supportive engineering team, delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services.
The successful candidate will carry out statutory PPMs and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and general building services systems. You will be responsible for ensuring client sites remain safe, compliant, and operational while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Working alongside a team of experienced engineers, you will support a diverse portfolio of facilities and contribute to the efficient delivery of FM services.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Undertake fault-finding, repairs, and maintenance across electrical and building services systems.
- Complete minor mechanical, plumbing, fabric, and general maintenance works as required.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Accurately complete maintenance records and reports.
- Liaise professionally with clients and site representatives.
- Support colleagues and work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
You will be a proactive and dependable Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering excellent service. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced facilities management environment.
Essential Requirements- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification.
- Experience carrying out maintenance within commercial or FM environments.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Engineering Maintenance.
- AM2 Qualification.
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification.
- Mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, or general building maintenance experience.
- Previous Facilities Management experience.
- Competitive PAYE hourly rate of £19.48 per hour.
