We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join our Children’s Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a pivotal role supporting the development and delivery of high-quality social work practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and model effective, restorative social work practice across the team
- Manage a complex caseload involving safeguarding, looked after children, and adoption
- Provide guidance, support, and development for social workers and less experienced colleagues
- Contribute to group supervision, practice development, and quality assurance
- Drive high standards and continuous improvement in service delivery
Essential Experience:
- Extensive experience working with children and young people in statutory settings
- Proven ability to deliver strong outcomes in safeguarding and child protection
- Demonstrated success in leading and improving practice standards
- Understanding and application of relevant legislation, policy, and frameworks
Desirable Experience:
- Supporting the development of ASYE social workers or students
- Contributing to or delivering staff training and supervision
